Solution
Designed a new UI framework for existing pages that incorporate the new visual design. Improved on the UX on pages by updating the layouts and breakdown of information.
Thoughts
This was a fun project as I could break out from the constraints of designing and developing the existing software and push the brand to the limits by exploring the new feature that was externally designed and developed. It was a challenge to reinvent the software I have been working on for so long and modifying the views that have been further developed since they were first created based on software’s direction.
It was interesting to explore micro colour palettes within a primary palette in order to achieve the right balance right between keeping a consistent feel but also showing a difference on what was being viewed. Exploring icons further was exciting and creating a library, that I hadn’t initially thought could be done with the software, was challenging at times but ultimately satisfying.
